Hot Summer in the City!

Wow! It's been HOT! Tricia was in Boston last weekend and hit the beach with her parents. Here in Brooklyn we went to a dance party on the Gowanus Canal near our apartment however, that was not very cooling.. looking forward to the BIG day..

We feel the wedding will be more of a summer in the city theme than a Fall theme.. sounds good to me! Our Wedding is located near the best ice cream in NYC, the Brooklyn Ice Cream factory.. and I guess you can always go for a swim in the East River (see Seinfield episode "the nap")?

We can't believe it.

By now all the rooms at the Marriott are booked in our block. If you still want a room, I recommend going to expedia.com for the best rate rather than calling directly.  Otherwise, simply go on hotels.com and check out the hotel location according to the addresses we provided of the church and reception.

Now for the fun stuff.. Brent and I are deciding on a cake.  We chose these lovely ladies at a bakery on the Lower East Side to help us out.. their names are Deb and Peggy, they specialize in cupcakes and are VERY YUMMY!
